Living Documentation is a fractal, recursive taxonomy for documenting your IT systems at a company. It's fractal because it operates at every level, from the organization, to the team, to the individual. It's recursive because applications can have issues, which can have applications, which can have issues, and so on. And it's a taxonomy because it's a standard way of talking about and classifying things within your organization. It is not a formal encoding, such as a Terraform file. It is a compressed instruction set or reference.
